With a name that evokes the neo yuppie hedonism of the 1980s 'Private Jetlag’ are here to wash away our never-ending Brexit malaise and re-start the party. It’s time to keep your tongue firmly in your cheek, roll up your blazer sleeves, slip on a pair of slip-ons and pop a few champagne bottles by the imaginary pool. Debut single ‘Après Ski’ is pitched somewhere between Dr Dre’s ‘G Funk’ masterpiece The Chronic and Christopher Crosses 1980s Yacht Rock reign of terror.

Recently signed to acclaimed indie label Cool Thing Records, ‘Private Jetlag’ are a pair of multi-talented but unlikely writers and producers ominously monikered ‘Franco Bombastico’ (bass, keys) and ‘The 4tunetellah’ (vocals, keys) owing as much to the pop songcraft of Hall & Oats as they do to Snoop Dogg’s Doggystyle.

Matching the tracks knowing sense of faux yuppiedom is a debut video that lovingly pays homage to the affluent Ski culture of the 1980s.
